FormSprint PC Designer
PC Designer provides WYSIWYG form design and data mapping on a Windows PC. Click on the form element icon you want to draw boxes, lines and text. Form elements may be reselected to reposition and resize. Reference scales for millimeters, columns and lines make it easy to place elements precisely on the page. Build a form from scratch or load a spool file page and create a form around it.
Select from a large selection of scalable variable or fixed-pitch fonts. Display text upright or italic, plain or bold, even underline it and choose the size you need to highlight information.
Map spool file data with drag & drop simplicity. Select data from a spool file page and drop it anywhere on the form page. Select it again to move it and modify it by changing the font, the letter size or even to convert it to any common barcode. A print-preview icon shows what the printed form will look like.
Convert graphic files (JPEG or BMP) using the built-in conversion tool or import existing FormSprint graphics.
PC Designer interfaces with FormSprint through IBM i Access to open a new form project or an existing form. PC Designer forms are saved on the IBM i in the same place as forms created using the FormSprint editor and can be modified by the FormSprint editor.
